we drove up mount lemmon to hear some music in Summerhaven, where it was nice and cool. i grumbled through most of the gorgeous scenery on the way up since i don't like being trapped in my car seat for too long. it sure was worth it though cause i got to do some jamming . . . i'm a bluegrass baby!
we felt some sprinkles, which was actually a nice change from the summer heat down in the valley. then the sun finally came out for a little while. we made it to the car just in time as the rain picked up again and poured as we drove back down the mountain. and a rainbow came out, but i missed it cause i was fast asleep.
