i love to decorate! dad put the tree up and we started digging through the christmas box for things to add. then we made gingerbread cookies in the shape of planes, trains, and race cars, of course. the next day, mom got some more ornaments and taught me how to string the hook through the circle at the top. she went into the kitchen, and i did the rest of the box BY MYSELF and added them to the tree. then i filed all the candy canes onto one branch, taking a moment to uncontrollably lick one on its way up. I could smell the candy! mom let me have one; it was delicious!
