two birthdays and a minivan

 

chaos - this is our house right now!  

and sweaty. it's so hot!  
i took this great family photo on dad's 40th birthday after a long fun weekend. 

oh, and olive and i designed dad's carrot cake by ourselves.

mom had a birthday, too, but she is not 40. yet! 

she didn't get a fun weekend, but she did get chocolate cake.

and then we got a new minivan so we don't have to squeeze three kids in the back seat anymore! it's so awesome. i get the way back and have LOTS of room all to myself.
