As you can see, we've been getting out of Tucson lately because we are SICK OF SUMMER!
we had a nice picnic on the side of a cliff on the drive up. then Mom took Geppetto/Vinny to Summerhaven to stroll around while we rode the chairlift up the mountain.
There was more bickering than usual, our penchant for posing for dad's photos replaced by annoyance and requests for snacks.
get closer, dad said, so I can take your picture.
it didn't end well...
Olive refused to even smile.
we preferred to explore alone.
but the view was lovely.
later on, mom asked Olive what her favorite part of the day was. She shocked us when she didn't mention the giant cookie and ice cream in Summerhaven. Sitting next to dad on the chairlift, she said, it was nice and relaxing.
